Who do I coach?

Coaching is a privilege and an opportunity to help leaders live their best life while making a positive impact in the world. For over 15 years, I’ve worked with high achieving leaders who are in transition, looking to accomplish a new goal, or looking to level-up as a leader to achieve their goals.

I work with entrepreneurs, professionals, business executives, non-profit leaders, and students to help them gain clarity and get to the root of roadblocks. My clients have a similar mindset; they are looking to make sustained change and are willing to look within themselves.

Leaders often find habits that once served them well no longer help them achieve their new goals and dreams. I incorporate self-awareness of mind and body to help leaders have the data they need to know what’s working and what’s not as they achieve their most important goals and make their dreams a reality.

What is The Coaching Process Like?

Coaching relationships are important so we’ll take time to ensure that I’m can help you succeed at your best!

We begin by jointly defining specific competency-based outcomes for our work together. Outcomes can address a wide range of professional topics such as creating purposeful work, balancing (or integrating) competing commitments, navigating political challenges, empowering others, and a wide-range of leadership concerns.  Career and life changes, relationship challenges, and finding greater joy and fulfillment are also frequent coaching topics. 

Once we agree on outcomes, we jointly design a coaching program, unique to you, that includes self-observation exercises, practices, and readings, that require new ways of seeing and new actions in the world.  We commit to this program for a fixed period of time, generally six to twelve months, with a three-month minimum.  Real issues and problems provide practice opportunities.  We meet regularly by phone or virtual platform to review what you’re learning and to refine the program. 

In addition to specific outcomes of your coaching program, you will build your capacity to respond with presence and creativity to challenging situations, as well as take charge of your life-long development.

 

 

1. Set up a 30-min intro call to decide if coaching is right for you.

I believe that a coach and client should be aligned in their vision for what’s possible to achieve.  An intro call gives us a chance to see if we’re a fit for a coaching relationship and for you to see if coaching is right for you right now. 

2. We'll enter into a coaching partnership

We’ll meet bi-weekly for six to twelve months as you progress towards your goal.  These are 1 hour coaching meetings that allow you to gain clarity and insight that help you achieve your goal. We’ll also set up your IDP (Individual Development Plan) and Action Steps that help you map out your plan to achieve your vision for your future.

3. Next we'll determined competency-based outcomes

The process begins by jointly defining specific competency-based outcomes for our work together. Outcomes can address a wide range of professional topics such as creating purposeful work, balancing (or integrating) competing commitments, navigating political challenges, empowering others, and a wide-range of leadership concerns.  Career and life changes, relationship challenges, and finding greater joy and fulfillment are also frequent coaching topics.

4. We'll focus on your habits

The habits you have today helped you get to this point, but often the habits that served us well in the past no longer serve us well in our new vision for our future.  We’ll use present moment awareness (through somatic practices) to moments of choice so you break through roadblocks standing in your way of success.  

5. You receive support and accountability for sustained change & success

The key to success is integrating the knowledge you gain through coaching into practice.  Sustained practice creates long-term success, which is best achieved through ongoing support and accountability.  Our bi-weekly meetings and support through email and phone calls means you can integrate that knowledge sooner and accelerate success.

I’ve been creating leadership programs and coaching leaders for over 15 years.

I’m a global program creator and leadership coach with a proven record of integrating innovative and creative knowledge in team development and learning.

I have extensive experience building leadership development programs, designing curriculum, and coaching leaders using online and face-to-face learning experiences in educational environments in the U.S and abroad.
